I have not found the software resetter for Canon Pixma MX300 in internet but don’t worry if you have problem with this multifuction canon printer, you can reset it manually.  This reset method is to reset ink level in Canon MX300 if your printer stop to print after refilling the cartridges.  Update: severals readers say, this reset methods also work on Canon MX308.

Here the Solution to reset the ink level for Canon Pixma MX300 follow this steps to reset the ink level in your canon MX300.

1. Switch off the Canon MX300 and disconnect the power cable.
2. While press and hold the power button, Connect the power cable to electric socket.
3. While pressing the power button, press the “Cancel/Stop” button (red button).
4. Now release the power button and the printer turns into a kind of factory mode. Wait for 10 seconds until it says “idle”.
5. Press “>” (next button) once “Shipping Mode 3″ then Press the “OK” button. Press “OK” again for “without cleaning”.
6. A test page will print.
7. Open the cover, like you are about to change the cartridges.
8. Disconnect the power cable again without switch off the printer.
9. Take out the both cartridges.
10. Close the cover.
11. Connect the power cable and turn on the printer.
12. Now just put the cartridges back and the ink level in the canon Pixma MX300 have full again.

Reset Ink Level on Canon Pixma iP1800/Canon Pixma iP1880 using iPtool software

I get this tutorial from fixyourownprinter.com forum to solve the ink level error in canon Pixma iP1800/Canon Pixma iP1880.  This problem usually appear after refilled the cartridge on the canon printer and ink level indicator showing the ink cartridge is empty although you have filled a cc Ink into the cartridge. And if the problem occur you cannot using your printer to print. The solution you must reset ink level on the printer if you want your computer work again.
If you have a problem like that you ca follow this tutorial to solve your printer  problem, here how:

1. Turn of the printer and Disconnect the power cable to the printer.
2. Press power button on the printer. While pressing the button connect the power cable to the power source (the power indicator will light in green)
3. While still holding power button press resume button twice – orange blink and return to green.
4. Release the power button, then the PC will recognize new cartridge installed (If the power indicator on the printer steady in green you continue to Steps 5)
5. Run the IPtools software, please await after this software detect your printer correctly or you can set the printer model on “Change Model” section.
   
6. Click “reset black and reset color” button to reset the ink level and Click “reset main and reset platen” to reset waste ink counter. After clicked the button you will see ink level of the cartridge on in the IPTol info has 100% and WP and WM has  set to 0. Click Exit on IPTool
7. Turn off the printer and turn on again.

On the reset procedure above usually the problem found on steps 1-4 to make the printer steady light in green. On my experiment if steps 1-4 does not work  on your printer, you can use manual reset method for canon iP1700 before continue to steps 5.

Problem After resetting Canon Pixma iP1700

After a few day expreiment with my canon Pixma iP1700, I find two problem often happened when resetting the printer. First case, My Canon pixma Pixma ip1700 becoming Canon Pixma ip1300 after resetting the eeprom, second case, cartridge not recognize after resetting the counter then the led blinking 5X orange and 1X green..
1. My Canon pixma ip1700 becoming ip1300
My Canon Pixma iP1700 becoming canon Pixma iP1300, this problem happened after resetting the eeprom of Canon iP1700 using iPtool. The solutions for this problem :

• Install driver for canon iP1300, you can download the driver in the canon website.
• Now run iPtool software, auto recognize as Canon Pixma iP1300
• In the change model set the printer to iP1700.
• In the EEPROM Operations click reset button. Turn off the printer and turn on again, the problem solved now your Canon printer becoming Canon Pixma iP 1700 again.

2. Blinking orange 5x and green 1x and the color/black cartridge not recognized

This problem appear after several times reset ink level the cartridge. If this reset methode does not work to solve the problem. I get this solution after several times try resetting using various combinations button. Solutions for the problem are:

• Start with printer off
• Hold down Resume button and press Power button.
• Keep holding down Power button and press Resume 2 times, then press and hold the resume button, release power button.
• Green lights will flash and then stop blinking (Keep hold the resume button).
• When green lights are solid, release resume button and press again the Resume button 4 times.
• Don’t switch of the printer (because if your trun off and turn on again the printer the problem still appear), Now reset the counter and EEPROM canon iP1700 using iPTool software (recommended).
• Turn off and turn on again the printer, the printer should respond as normal. In my Canon iP1700 problem solved.

Reset Canon MP198, MP258, MP276, MP496, MP558, MP568, and MP648

To everyone who required resetter for canon MP198, MP258, MP276, MP496, MP558, MP568, and MP648 to reset ink counter on these canon printer model, I found how to reset these canon printers model on indoreset. Canon MP198, MP258, MP276, MP496, MP558, MP568, and MP648 is canon all in one printer verison that designed for home and small office.
I don’t know this reset method work or not on canon MP198, MP258, MP276, MP496, MP558, MP568, and MP648 because I don’t have this printer model to try this reset method.
Ready to reset your printer, follow the following steps:
All these steps must be done to reset your canon MP198, MP258, MP276, MP496, MP558, MP568, and MP648 printer.
A. Entering into service mode

• Turn off the printer off is the printer power on. And remove the printer USB cable from your computer..
• While the printer is OFF, press and hold the Start/Stop button on the some other canon printers model press Resume/Cancel button.
• While still holding Start/Stop button or Resume/Cancel button, press and hold the POWER button.
• When the POWER LED (green light) lit, release the Start/Stop or resume/cancel button (still holding the POWER button).
• Still holding the power button,   Press the Start/Stop button or resume/cancel button TWICE then Release the POWER button. Wait until LCD printer to display 0 (zero) number
• After the display is 0, attach the printer UDB cable to your computer, its will detected new device installed (its normal), now go to resetting steps

B. Resetting Ink counter on the Printer

• Run “service_tool 1050.exe”. you can download the service tool software from this link: ServiceTool_1050.zip
  

• Confirm detected USB-port numbers on USB port column.
• Click “Main button” on Clear ink counter section. Make sure there are papers in the paper feed because the printer will print after the process is complete.
• Click “platen button” on the “Clear ink counter” section. The printer will print again.
• Turn off the printer and then turn the printer on. You printer is ready for use.

Resetter Epson TX121, T13, T1100

After wait for a long time, finally resetter Epson T13, TX121 and T1100 available on internet. I found the resetter Epson T1100 on indoreset whereas resetter Epson T13 and TX121 on mediafire uploaded by OrTHoTaMiNe.
I’ve tried to run all software resetter on my computer and all software resetter not crash with antivirus installed on my computer (I use AVG) except resetter Epson T13. AVG antivirus detected Epson T23 resetter as Virus. Maybe it caused this software has cracked but I think it not problem, you can disable the antivirus protection on your computer when you want to use this software to reset your Epson printer.

Recycle Bin to Save Media Portable

Save media portable like USB Flash Disk or external Hard Disk so popular among computer users. However, file management in the external save media  differ in several ways, one of them is in regards to the deletion of the file. On the save media or internal connected to the computer, the file that has deleted generally is not deleted immediately, but instead placed into the Recycle Bin or Trash.
Another case with what happens if a user deletes a file from the save media portable. The file will not go into the Recycle Bin or Trash, but immediately lost. It is certainly a hassle, because to restore deleted data that must use the recovery effort is not simple.

1. Extract the file first that has been download. then move the executable iBin file into save media portable (e.g. USB Flash Disk).
2. Connect save media portable to computer.

4. We set some iBin configuration with right-click on the iBin icon in the Windows taskbar, then select Cutom Options.
5. In the dialogue box iBin Custom Options we can arrange capacity while in the catchment of the Space Limit (based on the rest of the free space in the save media portable), as well as enable iBin automatically when save media portable is connected to the computer with a click of a button Set a Start up command in autorun.inf. Click the Save button to apply the configuration.

Changing Folder Background: Add any image as a background in your window explorer for XP

There is a simple way to change your folder background from plain white to any image you want. Here is the quick preview:

To change the background of your folder, just follow this step:

Done! Now whenever you try to open the folder specified, it won't show a plain white background.

Previously I have shared the way how to change XP folder background from plain blank white to a background image. But the ability to make a custom image background in explorer backgrounds is disabled in Vista.

Therefore changing the background is impossible unless you have 3rd party apps to do. One of them is the small application named: Vista Folder Background. It is easy to install. Inside the Zip file contains instructions on how to for Vista 32- and 64-bits. Read the instruction to install neatly.
